E-Z Data System Provides Significant New Capabilities for NAILBA Agencies

Pasadena, CA, May 2, 2002 - E-Z Data Inc. announced significant new capabilities for their Enterprise CRM Platform (ECP) today, that meet the objectives of the NAILBA Technology Committee XML Initiatives announced in March, 2002. By using EZ-Data's enhanced Enterprise CRM Platform NAILBA members will now be able to work with a considerably larger set of information and even do live transactions into carrier's mainframe administration systems. "The NAILBA Technology Committee was focusing on more data with a vision of doing live transactions," said Dale Okuno, President of E-Z Data, "as of today's announcement, we are delivering full capabilities that reach their vision."

Getting the latest business critical information from the carrier is now just a click away for users of E-Z Data's ECP. The latest electronic forms, underwriting guidelines, newsletters, sales presentations, product literature, contest information, and even illustration software can be available from the carrier at the click of a button. That means there is no delay or expense in getting the latest version of any document. Live transactions into the carrier's mainframe admin system(s) are now supported and include: Earnings/Commissions, Licensing, Appointments, Agent Change of Address, Inforce Inquiry, Pending Inquiry, Application Upload, Client Change of Address, Fund Transfer, and Fund Allocation Change. "The wealth of information now available through E-Z Data's ECP is unsurpassed," noted Okuno. "We now are limited only by what information the carriers provide."

The technology to do all of this takes advantage of ACORD's XMLife and TXLife standards to which the NAILBA Technology Committee contributes and which they are promoting as part of their XML Initiatives. "We were able to utilize the ACORD-certified technology provided by CSC's ViLink eBusiness Product Group as part of their Distribution Partner's Program," said Okuno. "E-Z Data's new capability means that Agencies can realize valuable savings in time and money by using E-Z Data's system," stated Larry Hartge, General Manager of CSC's ViLink eBusiness Product Group. "The Carriers also realize an even greater return on their ViLink Electronic Commerce Platform investment since the ViLink ECP is the secure gateway linking E-Z Data's system to the Carrier's administration systems, and it holds the repository of electronic documents" Hartge said.
