Inland American Real Estate Trust Inc. (“Inland American”) will be converting to DST Systems as Transfer Agent effective August 21, 2010. Therefore, Inland American accounts will be converting from DST Fan Mail’s System Management Code Inland REIT (INL/ND) to Inland American (DST/IA).

Some other important changes are:

The Account number format will change. Currently, the account number includes a Fund number. Post conversion the fund number will be replaced with leading zeroes. There will be a total of 11 characters.
Example - 0050501234567890 will convert to 01234567890

Fund Codes will also be changing.

distributed for your affected clients prior to the conversion.

   All current FAN Mail Users will receive new Account Position Records (APR, File Type 03) and Account Master Position (AMP, File Type 09) from the nightly processing of February 22, 2010.
   All account numbers will be 11 numeric characters.
   No CUSIP changes will take place.
   All Fund Codes are changing and details are in the attached
spreadsheet.
   Currently, Strategic Storage Trust Inc. reports unit amounts to a
fourth decimal position. Going forward, they will report to a third decimal place for positions and transaction activity. At the time of the conversion, the Account Position unit amount will round to the third decimal place.

As you should know by now Putnam Funds is changing their account number convention for most existing Putnam Fund accounts on Monday, September 7, 2009. Unfortunately there is no way for E-Z Data to automate the changing of Putnam Fund account numbers for you either in CDS or SmartOffice.

Attached is step by step documentation for you to:

1) acquire your Putnam account number cross reference document from Putnam by going to the Putnam Advisor website < http://www.putnam.com/advisor/>

2) retrieve and process your last set of Putnam Fund files from DST FAN Mail that contain the old Putnam account numbers

3) find and manually change the old Putnam account numbers to the new account number convention using the Putnam account number cross reference document.

Please review these steps immediately and call the appropriate parties if you have any questions.
There are two separate documents attached, one for use with SmartOffice and one for use with CDS for Windows.

Warning: Failure to follow these steps, especially not processing your DST FAN mail files in a timely manner, will result in duplicate Putnam accounts and positions with either the new or old account number convention being created in CDS or SmartOffice after Tuesday, September 8, 2009. Also, after changing the Putnam account numbers to the new convention you cannot retrieve any old Putnam data files from DST FAN Mail’s My File History as this may result in the old accounts and positions being recreated in CDS or SmartOffice.

Please note that effective September 1, 2009, a separate daily price file will no longer be transmitted to DST Fan Mail for Inland American Real Estate Trust, Inc. "Inland American" and Inland Western Retail Real Estate Trust, Inc. "Inland Western". Inland American and Inland Western are non-publicly-registered, non-traded REITs and declare an ERISA value in January of each year.  As the price is typically determined on an annual basis, you will be notified accordingly upon any changes to the price file.

Below is the list of required changes: (modeled the same as other non-traded REIT investments)

FPR File:
* Inland REITs will no longer deliver a Daily Price File (FPR Type 17).

DFA File:
* Inland REITs will not populate the "Unit Price Amount" field in the Direct Financial Activity file (DFA Record 1 of 2 /Type 02).
* Inland REITs will update the Direct Financial Activity File (DFA Record 1 of 2 /Type 02) to be populated with a Dealer Level Control Code equal to "5".

APR File:
* Inland REITs will not populate the Net Asset Value field in the Account Position File (APR Record 1 of 2).
* Inland REITs will update the Account Position File (APR Record 2 of 2) to be populated with an Account Price Schedule code equal to"I".
   Note: Alpha Character "I" should be treated as if no price is required

This is a reminder that effective September 7, 2009 the Putnam Funds will be simplifying their shareholder account numbering system to make it easier for you to view a client’s portfolio within DST Vision and other account aggregation systems. This new numbering methodology is being implemented based on feedback they’ve received from advisors. Currently, each holding within a Putnam shareholder’s portfolio has a unique account number. Under the new system, all accounts with the same registration, tax ID, and account type will receive a single base account number. A separate fund code and CUSIP will differentiate fund holdings within a portfolio.  Specific account types, such as level 3 brokerage, omnibus, and defined contribution investment-only accounts will not be assigned base account numbers.  The existing account numbers for these account types will not change.

Depending on the software you use, you may need assistance converting your clients’ account numbers.  To assist with necessary conversions, Putnam has created cross-reference files, with your clients’ old and new account numbers that may be accessed from the “Accounts” section of their Advisor web site at www.putnam.com/advisor. Please note that any files downloaded prior to August 26, 2009 will be test files only. These files are designed to help you conduct tests for converting your data; the new account numbers may not be correct. Test files will not be available after Wednesday, August 26, 2009.  Files downloaded on or after September 7, 2009, will contain the accurate live/production new account numbers. DST FAN Mail users should reach out to their software vendors (if applicable) for additional information regarding how to convert the account numbers within their particular software package.

It is recommended that you process the account cross-reference file, and/or update Putnam account numbers, prior to downloading DST FAN Mail files sent on or after Wednesday, September 9, 2009. These will be the first FAN Mail files to contain new base account numbers. If the updates/changes are not completed prior to taking in your first FAN Mail files post conversion, it may cause duplicate accounts in your database.

• Any group retirement, employee stock bonus, pension or profit sharing plan, other than a Flex Plan, that includes the fund as an investment option as of August 3, 2009
• Purchases through any comprehensive or “wrap” fee program or other fee based program
• Accounts managed by DIMA, any advisory products offered by DIMA or DIDI and for the Portfolios of DWS Allocation Series or other fund of funds managed by DIMA or its affiliates

Fund Advisory - Wells Capital as Transfer Agent Conversion

On July 25, 2009, Wells Capital, Inc. (Wells) will convert from The Bank of New York Mellon (BNYM) to the Boston Financial Data Services (BFDS) recordkeeping system.

Currently, Wells serves as transfer agent for:
      Wells Real Estate Investment Trust II, Inc. (Wells REIT II),
      Wells Timberland REIT, Inc. (Wells Timberland), and
      Piedmont Office Realty Trust, Inc. (Piedmont)

During the transition, BNYM will create and supply a close-out file to DST/FAN Mail.

The following changes will occur:
Wells' current system/management company code (WRE/NY) will expire.

Three new codes will take effect:
         DFR/LW (Wells REIT II),
         DFR/TW (Wells Timberland), and
         DFR/PR (Piedmont).
Note: Wells Limited Partnerships will continue under code WRE/RE.

All account numbers will change as follows:
Investors will now have a new BFDS account number. Each account number will be 11 numeric characters long and have unique fund identifier codes associated with it.Current BNYM account numbers holding one or more products always start with "521."  These will be converted to BFDS by dropping the "52" and adding a leading zero.
         Wells' BFDS fund codes will be:
               Piedmont = 03600
               Wells REIT II = 03601
               Wells Timberland = 03602
               Examples:
                     Old: BNYM Wells REIT II only account number:  52
                        1000123456
                     New: Would drop the "52" and add a leading zero. This is the new account number. Then the fund code will be used to identify the product: 03601 (fund code) 01000123456 (account number) Old: Piedmont + Wells REIT II (under one account number): 521000123456 New: Divides into two account numbers:
03600 (fund code) 01000123456 (account number) and 03601 (fund code) 01000123456 (account number). All current FAN Mail users will receive new Account Position Records (APR, File Type 03), and Account Master Position (AMP, File Type 09) from the nightly processing on July 27, 2009. No CUSIP changes will occur.
Going forward, Wells will report unit amounts to a third decimal place for positions and transaction activity (currently, Wells reports to a fifth decimal position.) At conversion time, the Account Position unit will round to a third decimal place.
