The Filters, Sets, and Dynamic Reports course provides in-depth training on Client Data System tools that can be used to research, organize, and report on data captured in CDS. The concepts taught in this course will help you mine your valuable data to increase sales and customer service effectiveness. 

Upon completion of the Filters, Sets, and Dynamic Reports course, you will be able to:

• Mine your database for contacts, policies, positions, activities, etc. using criteria you define
• Build and save filters that can be used in a variety of ways
• Create sets of contacts that can be used to create mass activities and send mass mailings
• Understand what makes a report “dynamic” and create your own Dynamic Reports to take custom snapshots of the data captured in your database

Lesson One – Creating and Using Filters in CDS Runtime: Apr 16 minutes
Learn the principles of filter construction by understanding the three components needed to build any filter in CDS. Build filters with multiple field criteria and join filter criteria for even more specific database mining.

Understand the difference between filters and sets and why one might be more useful than another in a given situation. Learn to create and manage the three different types of sets available in CDS and use set membership lists to create activities and correspondence.
