Brokerage General Agencies Share Insights and Technology
at E-Z Data’s 2007 Client Partner Conference for BGAs

Event highlighted innovative agency management technologies supporting the changing needs of BGAs

Pasadena, CA, September 27, 2007 – E-Z Data, Inc., a leading provider of front-office systems for insurance companies, general agents, banks, investment dealers, agents, and financial advisors, announced that principals and office managers from leading Brokerage General Agencies were present at its annual Client Partner Conference for BGAs on September 9 through 11, 2007. The event, held in the Washington, D.C. metro area, featured speakers from top brokerage organizations, technology consulting firms, and E-Z Data’s BGA Services team.
Created for Brokerage General Agency principals and office managers who use E-Z Data software, the conference is designed to give these clients a unique opportunity to network with their peers in the financial services industry, learn how others are using E-Z Data solutions, share best practices, explore winning marketing strategies, and preview the latest solution offerings from E-Z Data.

“E-Z Data’s BGA Client Partner Conference was a very positive experience for us,” said Barb Crowley, President, Brokers Clearing House Ltd. “We recently transitioned to E-Z Data’s web-based SmartOffice because it offers us more of what we need to manage and grow our business in today’s marketplace. The conference sessions gave us some great ideas for how SmartOffice can help our agency. Interacting with other SmartOffice users was a real highlight, and the follow-up ‘how to’ webinars for attendees are helping us directly apply what we learned in the sessions. That is real, tangible value. We are already looking forward to next year’s conference.”

The conference included two days of sessions containing presentations and user panels with BGA clients, including BRAMCO, Brokers Clearing House, CS Marketing Resources, The Tavenner Group, and Upstate Special Risk Services. Other sessions included business and technical discussions led by the E-Z Data team, as well as presentations from technology consulting firms focused solely on addressing the specialized needs of financial services organizations. Product sessions focused on helping users make the most of their existing solutions and previewing the latest version of SmartOffice®, version 6.0. The event concluded with a group session to identify and prioritize future solution enhancements. A series of twelve follow-on webinars has been scheduled to provide additional in-depth discussions on the use of specific areas of functionality within the SmartOffice solution.

“E-Z Data is committed to serving the BGA community by exceeding industry expectations with solutions that expand the definition of agency management,” said John McFadden, E-Z Data’s General Manager of BGA Services. “Our Client Partner Conference effectively brought this user community together to share their own ideas with the E-Z Data team, explore the many business benefits that can be achieved using the SmartOffice® solution for BGAs, and build valuable business relationships with their industry peers.”
