SmartOffice®, the company’s web-based CRM solution, is trusted by more than 125,000 financial services professionals worldwide to help streamline operations, improve customer relationships, and increase top-line revenue.

E-Z Data is seeking an executive level sales professional to join the sales team. The company provides Customer Relationship Management (CRM) software solutions specifically tailored to the needs of insurance and financial services companies.

Qualified candidates must have 10+ years experience with a proven track record of sales success with enterprise class software solutions and domain expertise in the insurance and/or investment products industry.

Additionally, the candidate must have experience developing and executing sales strategies. Must be energetic, assertive, organized, self-motivated, with high desire to succeed. This position will develop and implement strategic sales plans nationwide to achieve the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Expand sales base in further developing nationwide distribution
  • Analyze customer needs and provide the right product mix
  • Directly and indirectly monitor all sales activity
  • Keep abreast of industry trend, competitive actions, new product development and customer requirements
  • Responsible for generating profitable sales growth, which includes signing new business, developing prospects and building relationships
  • Must be a proven performer in proposal development and achieving required quotas
  • Must provide updates of all ongoing communications on a regular basis
  • Identify niches / opportunities
  • Prepare sales forecast by product line
  • Deliver effective presentations
  • Participate in trade and industry shows as required
  • Build account relationships beyond the buying level to ensure the involvement of key decision makers
  • Ensure optimum level of customer service
  • Understand the overall software product(s) implementation strategy, methodology and tools, and subsequent delivery success
  • Work effectively and cohesively with other key personnel to effectively engage prospects in the sales cycle
Job Requirements

Technical Experience

  • Have an excellent understanding of technical side of selling enterprise solutions
  • Understanding of Information Services department issues and priorities
  • Understanding of various technical platforms and the impact they have on decision-makers and influencers
  • Ability to work with and sell to CIO- and CTO-level decision-makers

Business Experience

  • Specific Insurance or Financial Services domain experience is a must
  • CRM solution selling
  • Ability to assess the size and scope of projects.
  • Proven track record developing, selling and closing solution based software

Other

  • Proven ability to develop and maintain customer relationships
  • Experience in negotiating with "C" level customers.
  • Excellent communication skills—must be able to clearly write documents targeted at various audiences (C level, engineering, marketing and executives) as well as make effective presentations to large/small groups
  • Must be a good motivator and dynamic in personality
  • Must be energetic, enthusiastic and creative
  • Must be willing to travel as needed
